Three Farmers CSA
It is with great excitement that we are announcing the registration opening of our 2025 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) season, now under the new name of THREE FARMERS CSA!
WHY THE CHANGE?
Over the past two years, Love & Grit Farm has partnered with East Rivendell Farm in Damascus (Sharon Fraley and Steve Mullinix) and most recently in 2024 Giovanni's Organic Farm (Philip Barrows). Collectively, we gained great benefits in this partnership: the ability to scale a CSA program while all being small (micro even?) farms with finite growing spaces, share our resources and knowledge amongst growers (and occasionally farm crews!), offer with greater ease and less risk to you - the CSA member - a more diversified and overall better quality share each week.
We firmly believe in the power of community and that our farms are stronger with stronger networks amongst them. Cooperation and collectivity in our agricultural communities only benefit their neighbors by allowing for more adaptability to change and longevity.
In short - we think together we can offer a better product to a larger group of members this way!
WHAT IS CHANGING THIS YEAR?
Very little has changed - with the exception of some changes to pickup locations (one new), our CSA program will function very similarly to last season. Share sizes, options (biweekly/weekly and 10 week seasonal) are all still available.
